 | Ashley Dawson Assistant Professor of English College of Staten Island Seminar Ashley Dawson is an Assistant Professor of English at the College of Staten Island, CUNY. He is the author of Mongrel Nation: Diasporic Culture and the Making of Post-Colonial Britain and is the co-editor of Exceptional State: Contemporary US Culture and the New Imperialism and the forthcoming Altered States: Politics After Democracy. He holds a master's degree from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. from Columbia University. |
