Moustafa Bayoumi is an Associate Professor of English at Brooklyn College, CUNY. He is the author of the recently published How Does It Feel to be a Problem?: Being Young and Arab in America and co-editor of The Edward Said Reader. His essays have appeared in The Nation, The London Review of Books, The Village Voice, The Yale Journal of Criticism, Transition, The Best Music Writing 2006, and other places.
