![]() | Jill Lepore Professor of History Harvard University Seminar Jill Lepore is the David Woods Kemper '41 Professor of American History at Harvard University, where she serves as chair of the History and Literature Program. She is also a regular contributor to The New Yorker. She is the author of The Name of War, winner of the Bancroft Prize; Encounters in Early America; A is for American; New York Burning, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize; and Blindspot, a fake eighteenth-century novel written jointly with Jane Kamensky. She is currently writing a biography of Benjamin Franklin and his sister, Jane Mecom. |
